A sensational field will line up for the Astute Electronics Gold Cup Final at Towcester on Saturday night, and all eyes will be on Dorotas Wildcat, as the Kevin Hutton-trained star aims to defy his trap five berth and storm to victory, but the favourite may struggle to deal with life in the orange jacket, and it could leave the door open for another contender in the 9:53pm contest.

Liz McNair's KING ELVIS was on the British Bred Derby at Towcester at the back end of last year, and the former Produce Stakes champion will be aiming to enhance his claims as a potential Greyhound Derby contender this year, and he could be the one that storms to victory in what really is a top-class line-up for the 480m final.

He was beaten in his semi-final, but in this final he can propel into the lead out of the boxes, and with some of his rivals potentially getting in each other's way in the early stages of the race then he could well be away and gone, and if he can get on the bunny then he will be a tough competitor to reel in, and is the value play for Saturday's showpiece event.
