There was a stunning first round's action of the 2022 Star Sports/TRC Greyhound Derby at Towcester Greyhound Stadium last Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, and it saw 96 greyhounds qualify for this Friday and Saturday's second round.

The likes of Lautaro and Ballinaboola Ed produced sparkling displays in the first round of the competition, and they will be look to scorch the sand once again over two nights of top notch greyhound action.

With the top three from each of the 16 second heats to progress to the third round, the competition is starting to hot up with a number of top four-bend performers ready to strut their stuff over the coming weeks.
